Right now 13 men are deciding our health care BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. They have not released anything and other senators have not seen it and have not had a chance to offer amendments.To make matters worse, the Senate vote could happen as soon as June 28!

Ohio Senator Rob Portman is one of the most important targets in this national fight and it is critical that we show Portman that Ohio won’t stand for him playing politics with our health.

This Friday, June 23, there will be a STATEWIDE action to oppose the AHCA. Members of Lorain County Rising will be heading to Cleveland to protest at Portman’s office, while sister Indivisible groups will be doing the same in Toledo, Columbus, and Cincinnati.

The day will proceed as follows:

• 12 -1 p.m. – People will meet outside the Federal Building where Rob Portman’s office is for a rally,
• 1 – 4:30 p.m. – Hourly die-ins
• 4:30 p.m. March to Public Square.

Let’s get as many people to this event as possible to show just how strongly Ohio feels about this legislation!
