In the face of renewed threats to our healthcare and the return of the “zombie” AHCA bill to the House floor next week, gather in support of the one million Ohioans who depend on the Affordable Care Act for the basic right of access to healthcare.

The new bill is just as bad as before, but now also allows states to revoke the Essential Health Benefits – allowing insurance companies to deny coverage for those with “pre- existing conditions” like diabetes, cancer, addiction, or pregnancy – eliminating options and providers, not adding more.

Experts are still reacting but are unanimous once again: This will destabilize the market and dramatically raise prices and erase access for all of us. No matter where you get your insurance, repealing the Essential Health Benefits will impact you.

Congresspeople supporting this bill may think they can quickly push through a law that repeals our most important patient protections – let’s show them we won’t accept it! Groups are also encouraged to attend together.
