Andy Slavitt is one of the nation’s leading experts on health care. From 2015 to 2017 he served as Acting Administrator of CMS, the federal agency that oversees Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act Marketplaces – programs providing coverage to over 100 million Americans.

Slavitt oversaw programs that provide access to quality health care for 140 million Americans, including Medicaid, Medicare, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Since the House passed the AHCA, Andy has been speaking to Americans across the country about what the legislation could mean for them.
