Lorain County Rising is staging a “die in” on Tuesday, May 9, at 11:30 a.m. at Rep Jim Jordan’s office in Norwalk.

If you want to carpool, meet at 11:00 a.m. at the Oberlin Public Library.

Some details:

• Wear black clothing.
• Bring a “tombstone” made from cardboard or paper with “RIP the ACA” or your cause of death that was a pre-existing condition, or something like that.
• We will have an officiant at our gravesite.
• The grim reaper may even make an appearance.

Note:  We will have a megaphone for anyone who wants to share their story. If you like, you can share your story about the ACA over the megaphone.

If you can, please arrive before 11:30 to draw chalk body outlines around downtown Norwalk (with pre-existing conditions noted inside the outlines).

Spread the word to any and all groups you know of who may want to participate. The more people who show, the more powerful and effective this can be!
